Its services include real-time technology solutions that provide business intelligence to improve the decision making of its clients. The company was founded in France in 1926 and has its base in both Houston, Texas and Paris, France.
Situation
Schlumberger engaged with CRMantra to optimize its utilization of data and assets across complex global business systems. These systems had to support more than 3000 sales reps in over 70 countries. Schlumberger also wanted to control profit margins across its international operations.
CRMantra set out to boost user adoption for Schlumberger, design an intuitive product selection and configuration system, and maintain or increase profit margins for service offerings.
Solution
CRMantra designed a Unified Order Management Solution on Siebel 7.8, Oracle BI (Siebel Analytics), and Siebel Sales.
The system provided a streamlined and highly usable order capture solution with Price Waterfall. The use of Siebel Analytics helped to monitor competition and margins.
Results
The solution provided Schlumberger with a 60% boost in order capture product configuration and operation times. It also improved user adoption through the better usability of product configuration.
CRMantra also increased Schlumberger's ability to monitor price discounting through the use of Price Waterfall and improved asset utilization.
