Reducing time to market for Swisscom’s products and services
Swisscom is Switzerland's leading telecommunications provider, with 5.9 million mobile customers and around 1.6 million broadband connections. Swisscom has a presence throughout Switzerland and offers a full range of products and services for mobile, landline and IP-based voice and data communication. Swisscom also offers services for IT infrastructure outsourcing as well as the management of communications infrastructures.
Situation
Swisscom came to CRMantra for help in integrating its systems for processing product data. The company had over ten different systems processing product data differently, with each system representing a product or group of products in its own way.
CRMantra worked with Swisscom to design a solution that would integrate these systems and consolidate product data seamlessly among them as well as to reduce time-to-market for new products and services.
Solution
CRMantra designed an Integration/ Transformation architecture for Swisscom, which included a re-architected solution to upgrade its systems to the level of industry best practices. The new platform involved declarative transformation processes, a high performance approach, and a hub and spoke solution.
Results
The results of this partnership included a solution that was able to deliver bundled offerings to the marketplace, define and deploy new products efficiently, improve business agility, and replace multiple hard-to-maintain, point-to-point integrations.
